It was too hot. At least it rained a little last evening. I dug a ton of trash but managed to get some nice things out of the ground.
Two eagle buttons and a percussion cap, the rest (I think) are Confederate nose capped minies used late in the war (makes sense) and an Enfield. All drops. I have some more stuff, but am exhausted by the heat. There are more targets there. And not on any map....got the info from a neighbor who is a lot older than me. Ground there is stupid. Soil conditons change radically even over 20 feet! The Deus didn't have any problems with it though. I really didn't wash the stuff off much. I'll leave as is. No coins though.
