Got a call from a woman about a lost pigeon she had found. I have Against the Wind Loft and my phone number on my band on the bird's leg. I drove over to the next county and met her , her husband, and two children. I answered a few questions that the daughters had about the bird and then asked the husband about the age of the farmhouse. The husband told me the farm and house were over 100 years old and that people had metal detected it before. He told me I was welcome to metal detect it. This is the first time that I picked up a permission to hunt while retrieving a lost bird. Yeeeaaahhhhh!!!
