While civilization is advancing at a very rapid pace it is important, indeed, imperative that we not lose sight of the relative stability of the past in relation to the achievements of the present. Then again, we should strive to maintain a significant balance between rapid change and the need for stability in the present without jeopardizing the desire of achievers to continue, thus, causing them to become under-achievers. Yet, at the same time should they become over achievers the technological advances may be too rapid for a society that depends on a mixture of those who want to maintain the status quo, and others who favor the old ways of earlier generations and those who are wanting civilization to push the envelope to the point of bursting through the seams.

Still, a stable society requires that all contribute to retrogration as well as maintaining the status quo and rapid advancement. The only real constraint is that self-discipline must be maintained by each individual according to his or her own capabilities, without obfuscation and always maintaining terminalogical exactness.
