New detector here (Western New York)

Hi all, I'm new to the hobby and have been reading through the forums for a bit now so I figured I should say hi. I recently bought a DFX and have been trying to get out as much as possible in this heat. If your local to the area and would want to teach me some tricks it would be greatly appreciated. I have a lot to learn and am planning on joining a local club. I live in Rochester but have family in Buffalo that I visit so if you are in the area let me know! Look forward to posting more (especially in the best finds section!).
