OK - my boys have been twice and they look foward to our next hunt. Which brings me to the next question...what is a good detector for kids. Easy to handle and read. Also, I am giving my Ebay Detector to the wife and I am going to invest in one for me. What can I buy Ebay or New for $500 for me?

BTW - my boys are 6 and 9.

i got my daughter (she's 8) an ace 150, i really wish i got her the 250 insted cause the 150 doesn't have a pinpoint feature. the ace's are light and easy to use. and if they would get tied of them you can easily sell them.
