Having a 4" built for us by a nor cal local. Partnering up with 2 good friends and fellow prospectors. The plan is to have her on the water first week of March, regardless of the court decision on the 23rd of this month.

With them pontoons that will be low. Buy tire air valves and ge door/window seal silicone them to keep water out of them old school pontoons. Remove them long bars as you will catch all under them and fill the box and adios your gold. John

I'm going with Pennyweight when he picks it up to make sure all is kosher. We can do any mods to the box once we have it in a spot to work on it. I'm pushing for the fellas to stay within the '94 regulations though they are grown men and do what they want....they are my friends and I don't want to see them strung up...or cause any problems for the dredging community.

I'll try Dan we just had a bunch of plans approved and permits set up at work I might be pretty busy. We won't be open yet though so I will try for sure. I can definitely go in early and make time to meet up. Are you leaving Saturday morning?

My schedule is still up in the air. ..my girls and I will be up Sunday 1st, and the girls are driving back on wed. I was planning to stay a couple days and fly home if it works out, but Matt can't confirm the days off yet. Jason just might drive my truck and follow us up, he can dig while i run around with my girls, then he and i can dig for a couple days and drive home the following weekend...sat 7...

Looks like Jason is gonna drive my truck up, and we will drive back down together. So as of now, I'll be on south fork wed,Thurs, and fri. Mojo is gonna try to make it out on Friday. If you get a chance you should come out. You know about where Jason is digging, right?

Yea ... far up stream I think its out of habit that he hikes that far for color.......you would think he was used to working the East Fork of the San Gabriel or something.

Had a good time last week in el Dorado county. Got a little color despite only getting in about 6 hrs of dig time. As always it was good to see you goldenmojo and goldwasher. I'll be up there permanently sometime next month.

So your basically leaving them alone? Maybe immovable objects are best left to unstoppable forces.
