New Explorer SE (My First finding!!!!)

Hi Guys !!! I'm new to the metal detecting world and just received my first metal detector(Minelab Explorer SE). Went today to the backyard to try it and only 5 minutes after turning it on , I found a long nail?? Stake burried at about 8 inches deep !!!!
Any ideas?

Well it might be a property stake. Not sure, looks like it though. I have found a few of those in fields using my ACE 250, around old one room school sites.

Great find, can't wait to see what else your new detector finds. If your yard is that old to have a stake in it like that, I bet your gonna find some great items there. Good Luck.
