Searched a few different sites today, one in a pasture and 2 in the woods. now this green disc with the U.S. stamped on it was embedded in concrete, I dug a concrete chunk the size of a bowling ball. Ok ok I admit, I was the one who put the scratches in it digging it up :tongue3:. I also had to pound it with another rock to free it from the chunk. Anyone out there know what the heck this thing is? seems to be solid brass...i think. Also found this door knob and button. The button only has markings on the back, some kind of wreath design, ill do some searching about it, but some input from you guys is always nice.
enjoy the pics,
Pro-

I got beat to the answer again. :violent1:

Survey pin is probably correct. I think some markers have more information on them like National Geological or Geographical survey and lats, longs, minutes and maybe elevation. I forget whats all on them as I've never brought one home with me, concrete is heavy. :tard:

I can't believe you destroyed a survey marker.... :laughing3:
