Hi gang, I just joined this site and can already tell i'm gonna like it. I am from Camp Hill Pa, I enjoy all kinds of detecting, from coinshooting to beachcombing but my favorite has to be Relics mainly Civil War, since I just recently found my first Minieball. I was coin shooting a local park when i ventured into a wooded area along the back of the park. There it was about 8 inches down I couldn't believe it. After ALOT of research I found out the park I was in sat right at the edge of a large Civil War Fort that was builtt to guard our State Capital Harrisburg. Well since then I have an even bigger passion. More than just coins and jewelry Now I want to find history. I look forward to reading your stories and seeing your finds and can't wait to share mine.
