Got out to hunt with mighty_mace
Today at a Grove I Have been putting off Hunting
for about 35 years.
grove is only about a mile from me
but for some reason I Never bothered.

2 weeks ago I Stopped and asked the Landowner's
Permission to hunt it this weekend.

Found alot of Trash
and One Memorial only a '74

This Unusual Item, has a Hole & a Stem
like a Rivit & Heavy like Lead
, However has writing on both sides

Can't quite make it all out

I'm tellin ya the airbrush worked great for cleaning! So ready to get out detectin again...bein off 3rd shift is nice for sleeping better but has cut out my ability to go every morning.....,

It's a Badger model 150 Dave, running about 45 psi through it. I usually use <20 psi for painting but the little extra boost seemed to help.

Old post, But finally found someone at home and was finally able to Give the I.D. bracelet to a relative in law, of his today.
Marvin died awhile back, so did his daughter, & Parents, but his wife is still living.
if I got it right.

also confirmed we have an open invitation to hunt the grounds again.
I said probably late fall, early spring

Really like the airbrush idea. Unfortunately, I don't own one. I wonder if a regular compressor will work if I soak the coin first? I just found an Indian cent & can barely make out the face. The reverse looks pretty decent though. I'm interested in the peroxide technique too. How's it done? Any other ideas for getting the crud off the face of a coin?
