Hello from Maryland!! Not sure whre to post this, but anyway I have been MDing on and off for the past 10 years. I started with an Ace 300 and then about a month ago I bought an ACe 350 and now have a Minelab Safari that I purchased from Mike at Woodland. Just got it today. I took it out back for a few minutes and found a couple of pennies and a zippo lighter before I had to call it quits because of the heat.I dnt know how children can play outside in this heat. I see them riding their bikes and running up and down the sidewalk. If you are looking to purchase a new MD talk to Mike at Woodland.

Welcome aboard!!! Lot of good info here, and the posts of peoples finds are always great to view. As far as the kids playing outside in the obpressive heat and humidity, I think they're immune to any sort of discomfort when it come to play time. I guess that it's a good thing that they are outside and not sitting infront of the TV or computer all the time. (hey, thats what I do) HH Gene
