Secured a new spot in south ms that is over 200 acres in size and has been used by Boy Scouts since the early twentys. We hunted a spot all the way in the back with a few good keepers and decided to check out the area between the dining hall and lake that has also been there since the twentys for a few min before we left. I found these within ten min. It makes me very optimistic with this spot.

I used to hunt an old Boy Scout camp in Florida, it was loaded with silver! This one was from the late 1940's or early 50's. I got multiple silvers every trip. One trip got me two Walking Liberty halves. I also found a nice gold class ring which surprised the heck out of me as I thought it was going to be another nickel. Found a few neckerchief slides a 1960's silver jamboree ring, and a 101st Airborne DUI pin too. This was all just hunting between the dining hall and the lake there. I had the best luck around the fire pit areas where they would set up tents, also right next to the lake where they might lay down a blanket to sit down. Never hunted the water there as it was all grown up and who knows how many water moccasins and gaters were in there. I often thought about how much silver is still waiting there to be had in the water.

Still chuckling at " favorite cologne", Rich:laughing7:. Sounds like a great place you've got. 200 acres ought to keep you busy for a few decades, lol. Keep us informed:icon_thumright:
