Heres some fossils i also found in new jersey. Its hard to tell if some of the mammal stuff is fossilized. But they are probably pretty old. I spent almost an hour sifting for these. Just kidding this buch probably represents over a hundred hours sifting and looking. I would love to go back there but i eventually discivered a toxic was dump at the head of the river. So i am not going back there ever again. It was a great place though since i had found these fossils lots of fossilized wood mixed right in with colonial and indian artifacts. If ya want me to zoom in on any let me know. These were found in the Cretaceous green marl that intersects with the Navesik formation, I think.

Great finds! You have a great spot. Do you know what the piece with all the hexagonal shapes is in the bottom row? I am unfamiliar with what it may be.

It's just some type of coral. I forget the name now.

Thanks.

It is a jaw with teeth. Not sure it's fossilized though. Just threw it in there. I have a few small skulls that are that color as well.

If anyone can tell me what some of the others are that would be great. Or should I do more close up pics.

I see some ark shell casts, a nice otodus, some modern herbivore teeth but a zoomed in picture would be better
