New member - New to detecting

Hello all. Newbie here from North Carolina.

I recently decided to pull the trigger and buy a detector. I have considered it for years but for whatever reason never bought one. I ended up getting an AT Pro. I have been out about 4 times with it and finally found my first silver (small) today. I'll post pics in the today's finds section.

I look forward to learning a lot from everyone here.

Wow, a silver on the 4th time. Great for you! Hang in there with the AT Pro. I have an AT Gold. Very similar. Lots of people hate them at first and love them later when they begin to really understand them. It takes some time. I am beginning to transition from hate to love !
