Hey everyone! First off thanks to the creators and sponsors of this site, I have been using it as a resource for a while now and finally joined. I live in charleston SC and mostly hunt beaches around here with my Xterra 305 (don't laugh) I have actually managed to set it up with a 18kh coil to the point I can hunt about 5 inches down in wet sand without any false signals. However I'm waiting in the mail for a whites surfmaster DF I recently ordered. I also have a gofind 40 that I gave my 7 year old daughter. Anyway, thanks again look forward to reading and posting more!

Welcome to the forum from Massachusetts!

The Minelab X-Terra series detectors with some practice are very good at sniffing out the goodies! Both my daughter and I have the X-Terra 705 and we both love detecting with them in various hunting situations!
