This is not really a today's find but since I just got these back I wanted to post the finished product. While in Korea ,myself and hikenmtns went on a hunt through a Korean mountain range and found an old rest area of sorts. He knew what to look for and when he said OK lets hunt here I had no Idea why.
Well after about a minute I dug my first Korean coin and they kept coming. Hikenmtns and myself dug 31 old coins in about 4 hours. He took all the coins ,researched ,cleaned and id ed them and a couple of days ago I got a package in the mail and there was the coins! Our deal was that we were going to split them 50/50 but he sent them all to me ready for display!
They look awesome and range form 1679-1943 Korean,Chinese and Japanese. I was blown away. Bill is a top notch guy.
