i made a sluice box myself :P allthough i havent found anything much . it mite be my design or it mite be there is nothing around . I did find this today . bad image 
not much megapixel on the camera . it is a piece of quartz with gold stuff inside . btw polk county 2 mins from sc state line

Cool.. I do alot of quartz crystal digging also at Diamond Hill Mine near Abbeville. Me and FastJman1 (member) made our own sluices too. Maybe have some small small gold but nothing major yet. Still trying. That Quartz sure has some color. Maybe mica? Be nice if it was gold.

i made a cheap one with materials ive found around here i am just a beginer maybe 5 hours of field time . thinking micah aswell . be nice if was gold 
.. it is gold colored . ive went threw a any tips at a good box shoot them my way friend would love to learn also around here is abundant in quartz .
