New Rockpile, 1860's pocket spill ?

greetings all,
I stopped to search a couple new tidal rockpiles today,
Got my usual 5-10 lbs of lead items, nice old key, nails, brass ring, and some modern coins. well, 1 WC.
while working my way back to the truck, I dug my last signal, close to the road.
Pull 2 toasted Half Pennies from the hole! an 1861, & a blank, but 26 mm, which probably means it's another from the 1860's.
thanks for looking! great digs to ya! :hello2:

I'm loving that key! Any idea how old it may be?
