Got permission on a new home. Owner thought it was built in 1935. Map says there was a house there in 1875. Found a couple of buckles, Ford hub cap, 1848 large and the M C Lilley & CO, Columbus O, Eagle button. All info on the button is appreciated. Also, this is my 3rd 48 large, all in very good condition. I included a picture. I have at least 20 large now and half I can't get a date from.

Keep Swinging!! Dig Hard or Go Home!!

Very nice LC... that's crazy to have (3) 48s. I bet I know your lucky number.

The button is a Great Seal button. GL&HH.

Your large cent penny came out in great shape. Most of the lc pennies I have dug came from Ohio and Indiana. The soil and how it was used could determine how those coins were effected. I have found both really nice ones and really toasted ones.GREAT HUNT YOU DID THERE.

You can tell by my avatar, the LC is in the best shape of all the old coins I have found, and all of yours there are as good. That's amazing! Your ground must be very kind to metals. I found two 1914 Ford hubcaps, one almost toasted, but the other one is whole and even has grease in the cap!!
WTG! again! HH
