They have vinegar in them, possibly citric acid too, of course it is going to clean copper, and eventually eat it up....

I tried a mixture of ketchup, mustard, water, vinegar, salt, pepper, olive oil, baking soda, Thousand Island dressing, peanut butter, maple syrup, and hot fudge once...


and it didn't do anything...


so I decided to use a paperclip, a rubber band, toothpicks, chewing gum, and a knife instead.
