Well I have been reading every ones post of all the luck they are having hitting the beach. For one reason or another I haven't been, but wanted to post something on here anyway. Hope y'all don't mind? I have just built this scoop the same as my original. Except this one has a wood handle from the hardware store. I hope that it will hold up as well as the first one. Hoping to give it a try this weekend. Handle and all it weighs in at 6 pounds 9 ounces. Thanks for looking.

Cool looking. Heavy...post results with it. Dementions and if it is stainless or aluminum. Always used sunspot myself but would like to find an even bigger scoop if someone made one. Fool fortune on all of your hunts.

Nice looking scoop. Hope you don't have any problems in the wet sand. Looks like a good design and strong. Well done.
