Hello Everybody!

I watched a few videos on YouTube from The Hoover Boys and Detect Florida among others and got bit. I have other interests, but detecting might be the hot one in the near future since I especially like precious metals.

I also have an island beach condo in an area known for historic shiowrecks which will give me 20 miles of coastline from the front door. If I leave this island and take a 5 minute drive to the next it will provide another 20 miles of coast.

Questions:

1. Which detector should I purchase < $600 as the first for beach detecting?

2. Where should I purchase it?

3. My wife is also interested. How do I convince her she will not like the hobby?!

Ok....get yourself a minelab excal, or an eqx, and have at it.
Kelly Co is a great place to order online, and often has sales.
As for the wife.....throw down pull tabs on the beach in front of her and she will quit soon enough!! 🤣😂🤣

I just watched a current video today and the NYC guy recommended a Nokta Legend. for beach salt water. IT's within budget.
