Hello everyone, I live in the Bluefield Virginia area and have been metal detecting for about two years now. I have family and friends in southern West Virginia and planning to do some digging there this spring before the weeds take over the old abandoned coal mine community areas.

Script is the main reason for me hunting in the old coal mining communities, my grandfather worked in the mines and told me a lot about the way they had to use script to buy groceries from the company stores. I would be more then happy to post pictures of anything I find!
