The first reaction is to mock the idea. But what if some production company made an accurate series on MD'ing/Treasure Hunting...never happen right? I didn't think the guy I voted for would become President. Let the guy make his pitch, what have you got to lose?

Red, Zara is a member here and has the right to post thread and replies with out being attack just like all other members do. TNet is just like a TV, don't like the program change your channel.

You know nothing about her (nor do I) but you felt free to prejudge something you know nothing about. Not good.

For all we know, her planned series might be the first one to thoughtfully examine what drives folks like us to spend our time and money digging in dusty records and in the dirt to uncover the hidden past. On the other hand it might be more crap reality TV.

I agree with your judgement of the quality of what we have seen so far, but ....

How about giving her a chance to get on with it and see what results. First Amendment and all that...

If they payed me enough i would quit my job, but i'm no expert. Depends what they want and what they pay me. And yes i would work with a script if that's in good taste.

I don't like any of the TV shows, but mine are OTA , the nightly news has become a joke too.
Reminds me of a Charlie Chaplain movie they have ruined with sound.
