What's the best detector settings for this area? I'm mainly thinking I'd like to find coins. I know some places have pretty thick clay soil, where others are mainly dirt. I'm purchasing a Pioneer 101 Bounty Hunter. I'm thinking no discrimation. Any tips and advice for this part of PA are highly appreciated. Thanks.

I would run it with no disc. The best advice is to just get out there and practice. There are lots of parks that make for great coin shooting practice. Then when you get the feel for your machine move to areas more of interest to you. Be it relic hunting etc. Also research making a coin garden or test garden that helps a lot on learning your machines sounds.
