newbie finds

here is a pic of my driveway leading to the road, the deer is 50 to 100 ft from where I find the relics. map... go to deer, turn right walk 20 ft into woods, start finding metal.

Cool stuff...that one piece near the middle of the pic looks like it might be part of an old flask or an old automotive fluid container of some kind...

I want to see what happens when you get around to the old homesites...

Looks like a great place; nature, metal in the ground...what else could you ask for??

I sowed my finds to an old timer, he is 85, he immediately knew what the can was, he said it's an old tobacco can so he says. the more interesting thing in that lot is the small ring, it looks to me like a saddle ring used to tighten the girth of a saddle. due to the moist conditions here in the south I doubt I will find any leather that has not disintigrated over time.

Some unique finds...I recognize some of the relics. I really like that deer in the driveway.

Hey Weazel, here's an image program I use to view and resize images. It's free, fast and simple. It takes a lot less time than cranking up PhotoShop!

I work as a graphic artist so photoshop is my baby for photo editing just have not re loaded it on my new comp..
