Newbie from Western Kansas

I have done some detecting in the past casually but I am really just taking up the hobby. Haven't even gotten my MD yet but it is on it's way. Wife and I camp in a 5th wheel and look forward to digging up some relics as we travel around when we can. I also have several local homesteads lined up that have never been explored as far as the owners of the properties know. I'm a history buff so I am really more interested in finds of historical interest than becoming rich on clads (not that I wouldn't keep a pickle barrel of morgans if I dug one up).

I have already learned a lot on here and look forward to learning more as I go.
