Newbie help with buttons

Hi all. I am from the UK and have been metal detecting for a few weeks. Mostly finding ripped up beer cans and pennies but today I found two buttons and I am excited to find out something about them.
First button is flat and the back has a series of circles with the letter G at the end.
The second button doesn't appear to have any markings but has a smaller button stuck on the front (this is no longer attached).
Please have a look and offer some insight. I've put a 50p piece in to show size. Thanks.

First, welcome to forums. Those are nice finds but I can't help with an ID. There appears to be more lettering across the top of the flat button, can you make it out?

Hi thanks for the reply. I've tried to take a trace as I can't see the letters and there appears to be IL or maybe a TI if looked at the other way. Could be a load of oooooooo then GILT

I believe that does read Gilt. There should be another word to it's left and maybe reads "treble". What do you think the image on the front is?

I am pretty sure the two sides repeat several o's then GILT. The front may be a picture of a heart shaped flower
