Newbie just like to say Hello and ???

just want to say hello to everybody, being new to this,is there anyone who can suggest what type of detector is best suited for metorite hunting in the Arizona desert.

Howdy and welcome to TN. You will find lots of great folks here that will give you any info you need with regard to this great hobby. I'm also in Arizona and hunt Meteorites and other interesting stuff our desert hides. I use the Minelab X-Terra series of detectors and love them for their being lightweight and the quality of the machines. If you also want to hunt for gold, then you will probably want to look at the X-Terra 70 due to its prospecting mode. HH, lessthanzero
