WOW - First, I had an absolute blast searching for 3 days - just the local places, backyard, 2 tot lots.
My very first find was a bottle cap! Here is what I found:
older lock (not new, maybe 10 years)
matchbox car
$2.50 in loose change (clad???)
a tool
various junk metal..
sorry no pics yet, nothing really exciting to anyone but me!
I am sore (MDing is hard work), and I already hooked my sister in law! Can't wait for the weekend!

It's a start!! Yes....detecting definitely takes it's toll if you hadn't done it very much. I went out a couple of days ago for three hours (had to blow the dust off the detector) and I could barely move my legs the next day. Gotta stay in T-hunting shape!

Keep up the good work!

Finding stuff means you're off to a good start. Wait until you run into a silver coin or something............the hook will then be set good. I doubt you'll break off. I sure as heck haven't.
