Hello all, While doing some research on the old Croton aquaduct in NY., i came across this image of areas around New York that were old back filled, and built up land areas, and i thought that if anyone on here was around those areas they might find some possible areas to do some searching, bottle hunting, or MD'ing (that is if the areas haven't been paved over, or have structures on them now).
I am sure finding any areas to search near NYC must be tough, but this might give a general idea of some areas that might hold old items. (many times in the old days, lands that were back filled or built up used land fill, scrap metals, general trash, and even dredging spoils as fill material). Who knows what old treasures those old filled areas may hold.
