Nibletts Bluff area

I have been looking into the Area around Nibletts Bluff and wonder if there is any private land near the old rebel camp that was there during the civil war. I;m certain that the state park is off limits to metal detecting but wonder if the surrounding area has any landowners willing to let anyone hunt.
