Got out this morning for a quick hunt and decided to hit a field next to a colonial house that was torn down years ago. found the eagle 1858 flying cent within 5 minutes of looking. next came the pendant with 2.50 on one side and a eagle with arrows in feet.never saw anything like this before.looks old but no ideal what it means.the large aluminum disk was a big surprise as I thought I had hit a big silver coin, its holed to wear around the neck and I can see a 52 near the bottom of the eagle, this one is another mystery to me. the arrowhead was spotted several feet away and still in nice shape

The aluminum coin is a 1952 Austrian five shilling. Cool finds!

what ever the pendant is, it looks pretty nice. I'd say a pretty sweet 2 hours:icon_thumleft:

yeah that pendant is something special ,it will probably end up like some other items I found, no identification on it which really sucks, maybe military with the eagle on it or even political.

That is a nice 2-hour hunt. Are you sure it's a pendant? Maybe a watch fob. Either way, it does have some age to it. Congrats to you Mister.

That "pendant" may be an advertising watch fob for a "$2.50" brand watch? I seem to remember seeing it somewhere before........
Nice finds!

That pendant I seen found in Phila, but it was a coin, made of pewter. The Tnet guys IDed it as being a gambling token there were different denominations. 2.50, 5.00
If I remember correctly.
Nice finds, I love detecting in Salem and have found some great stuff there.
