Nice Buckle

Detected an old pasture field after it stopped raining late this afternoon. Here's the finds, best for me is this nice 3 pin buckle. Rare to find one of this type complete, probably wouldn't on ploughed land.

what are the other two things Rob

Think the big round thing may be a furniture/leather decoration. The other thing is a cheap comemerative item linked to George V, 1910-36 and is wife.

Lacking the extensive history that you have in G.B. we would not see the George V commemorative as "cheap." Our detecting colleagues would be quite excited to pull up a presidential commemorative from that era especially Teddy Roosevelt. I consider that a very nice find. If the George V commemorative had his cousin Tsar Nicholas II instead of his wife I would nominate it for a banner!

They would look like twins !.

The lack of branches on that family tree would make them closer to twins than most cousins.

Yes they certainly knew how to keep it in the family.
