Tanner and I pick up 2 boxes a week. This Thursday we scored just one 40% in the boxes. On the way to soccer practice we stopped a one bank on the way and picked up two $10 rolls. We scored 2 more 40%ers. That evening I had two work at the Gross Pointe Yacht Club. I left a little early and was able to stop a 3 banks along 8 Mile. The first Bank had $70 in customer rolled halves we scored 2 more 40%. The second bank had none, and the third bank had $40 in customer wrapped rolls 2 rolls were a skunk the in the last two rolls: one of them had 4 Walking Liberties, 2 Bens, and 6 40% The second roll had 2 Bens and 5 40%. (Tanner liked opening these)

Two of the Bens were 1948 mintage 3 million and 1948d mintage 4 million. Both were needed for out collection. The photo is of our days finds.

Our lean box day turned out pretty well.

Keep on Searching
Dad and Tanner

Congrats!

BTW, I used to live about a mile and a half from the Yacht Club!

Definitely couldn't afford a yacht, but hey...that name brought back memories! Haven't been to MI in at least 4 years.

AU is gold "Hey you - hand off my gold"

AG is silver - shorthand Latin: argentum

maybe this will help

At least I'm not the only one that thought Dad and Tanner scored gold. "Dad" gets a pass on this one, as it is a sweet cull of silver. Plus, his Wheat Wars are what many of us look forward to.
