Nice Digs With Silver Half And 1700's Cash Coin

I went back to a spot where I found a bunch of old coins the other day. I took my time and dug every good signal. I found two more Mercs and a War Nickle. I also dug a cool Chinese Cash Coin and it's from 1736-1795 during the Manchu-led Qing dynasty. Reigned by Emperor Qianlong. Thursday I went out of town with my buddy Micah for work and afterwards we hit a couple old schools. The first wasn't as old as we hoped and dug a bunch of wheaties but only one Rosie and a gold plated silver ring along with a .50 caliber round. I imagine a kid took it to show it off and lost it. The next spot is now a church where Micah got a Merc and right as it was time to go I got a nice 9-47 10-47 on the Etrac and was hoping it would be a silver quarter. I was excited to see a dark silver half down in the hole. A Walker was a great way to end the hunt. HH & GL David

Amazing hunt! Like you just went back in time and reached into the pockets of someone fighting in WWII - you got the 43' walker, mercury dimes, and 50-cal bullet and everything! :treasurechest::thumbsup:

Pretty sure the star button is the best find, can we see close ups of both sides? (unless its a wick adjuster??)

Very nice. I love it when I see a Walker come out of the ground. They are a great looking coin. Congrats.

Unfortunately the button is a modern button that went on blue jeans or coveralls.

Hello Sooper Dave. Those are some great finds.

I like the Rock Island TN tool tag and of course things always go better with silver...especially the big silver.

I hope the good finds keep poppin' for you. Thanks for the post. C9
