Went back to the same park that I found a 1960 silver quarter a few weeks ago. It's not to far from my house. In fact this is the first summer I ever checked it out. I think not to many guys worked this park.
Today I found this nice 1939 Nickel, it was buried down about 6 inches. Got home and cleaned it up with the rest of my clad, and to my surprise it was a nice 1939 nickel. So far I must of dug up over 15 dollars in clad at this park this summer...and still have a lot of park to check yet.. The park goes back to the early 1900's so I am hoping more silver is there. Hope the pic is clear enough to see the 1939.. Shane
