Just cut it in half or better yet flip for it. I could never split my finds with someone. Someone would end up missing.

It has very little to do with how long someone's "been doing this". It's all about volume. The more you search, the greater chance of finding something you want to keep.

I seem to remember a thread about somebody giving away 48 brand new lincoln cents recently and some wonderful silver came his way very quickly. Makes me wonder what would happen if somebady gave away this coin? I foresee a Chip 'N Dale type arguement in your future.
