So I've been hitting a huge field this spring and have found two areas that are producing some nice finds.
A few days ago I was over the moon when i turned up one clod (after finding a lot of old iron) and saw silver, and it turned out to be a 1 reale coin from 1790, my first ever reale, so I was psyched about that. The reale has a small hole in it, so I thought it must have fallen off someones neck at some point.
Well I hit that little area hard after that and managed to turn up another holed coin, this time a featureless copper.
Now the farmer is planting so I'll have to wait for harvest before I get back to that site.
