Check out this bag of spoons! Considering the price, I was expecting plate. The fist spoon I pulled said sterling! Lady in the background says, "Isn't that grandma's spoon?" and took it out of my hand.

Argh

Next spoon was Mickey mouse

I am guessing early 1930's. Note the hose like arm's and light bulb nose. Next was plate. Then a sterling table spoon!

Nice score on the silver. You should have asked how much of a discount being as they took back one of the spoons. :laughing7:

Grandma's spoon would be one thing if I already paid but try to take the mickey spoon from my hand and there would be a problem.

I tried... they thought about it for a second, and I just said, OK, $2. I didn't want to flummex the whole deal by being greedy over $1.
