while working out in the field today, i noticed a sale at a nearby residence. when break time arrived i went shopping. made out pretty good... i hope anyway

the boiler wash tub, and stoneware bowl...$10 ea.
brass jelly pan, and silver plated pitchers...$5 ea.
glass cruet (??)..was 50 cents, but the seller threw it in with the rest.

some prices fair, some great, but not bad for $35

any good tips on cleaning the jelly pan?? it's filthy

I'd say you did very good you can make all of your dough and a little more on the copper boiler alone :icon_thumleft: I usually don't buy silver plate very little resale value but if you liked it why not. Any makers marks or stamps on the bottom of the bowl ? It looks nice you should have no problem making some dough on that too. Does the cruet have a stopper ? Not sure about the jelly pan looks nice and I would have bought it for that price too.

there are no marks on the bowl.
as for the copper boiler, i couldn't get the money out of my pocket fast enough when she said $10...still can't believe the price.
the silver plate pitchers, and cruet (no stopper) are for the girlfriend. she likes the antique decor in her house.
