Found this at TARGET (edit I orig had walmart) today for less then 10.00 (been looking online and ones like it are 25.00 45+ Granted this is NOT sharp on the sides (it will cut thru roots with the serrated edge) and the other side can be sharped up pretty easy.. nice steel and heavy duty feel love the ruber handle too...

Yes, those are nice little tools for the price. The only thing I didnt like was
that it was coated metal for rust protection and that got banged up fairly easily.

Ive tried a bunch, and the solid stainless tools are my choice for long duration.

Not many available that are solid stainless, but they are worth it if you can find one on Ebay
or somewhere.

Happy diggin'

If you're looking for a serrated stainless steel digger, www.japanwoodworker.com has one called "The camper's Little Helper".
Just ran across this site other day. . . they have a lot of neat things.

Good hunting,

I have one of those Fiskars garden knives and used it since I got back into the hobby last summer.
It has been flawless so far and a good heavy duty digging tool.
Mine was less than $10 at Target.

Thanks for the source. They have some unique items, and some wonderful knives.
