I stumbled on this site a few years ago while biking and just recently found out that the land is co-owned by somebody I know...so I'm planning on doing some detecting here this spring after I talk with them. It's in an area you don't want to be hanging around if you don't have some names to throw out there. I'm not sure of the age of these buildings but they are the possible remains of an old powder co. or ice harvesting co. Need to do some more research. I enjoy these old sites and wanted to share the photos.

That for its time was not a poor mans cabin. Work and labor went into the rock work especialy on the gable end and fire place. Well worth the look later on. Nice pictures. They were building a home not a house.
