Got out with the wife for a 3.5 hr hunt. We didnt have much time so just went back to the sandy hill corn field that produced the cut pistareen last weekend. Got this in the first half hour within feet of where the pistareen was dug. Managed some buckle pieces and a couple tombacs. Slim pickings really. I wish all halfpennies came out like this one.

That's a beauty. Congrats. Out of all my Maryland dug colonial coins, maybe 1 looks that nice. She was dropped early and in friendly soil. Great example
