Hit the back field of a now gone circa 1910 school after work for a few hours. This is one of the few places around me I know has been pounded by me and others over the years. All of these coins were very deep and some mixed with junk but still no match for my Deus. It loves deep coins and even nickels will give that high squeek in full tones. First V in a long time and I think it and the IHP spill probably predate the school. No idea what someones plan was on the SLQ

awesome finds, it does make you wonder why they cut it. I know of people using coin silver for gun sights but that would be way too thick I would think

Thanks all. Im glad Ive been able to dig some keepers from pounded sites but the prospects of finding some fertile new ground for the summer are not good. At least close to home anyway
