nickel & wheat error

Hello, I have a couple of coins here that I would like to see if I could get an approx. value on. The nickel I was told is what is called a cud? I was also told that it is only worth a couple of bucks, does that sound about right? Second is a 195? wheat cent, the last number is gone, you can just barely make out a ghosted number. The rest of the coin is too nice for it to be from wear. If the pics are not clear enough, please let me know. thanks, chris

Re: nickel & wheat error

Tokens, the Cud nickel does seem to bring extra value. I see one on Ebay that has a large cud at the top that was getting bids of around $8-9 with some time to go. Same date as yours but a different location. Grade is also going to be a concideration. Yours seems to have a nice size cud on it so should go for mor then a couple bucks.

As for the 195* lincoln cent. It could be from a greased filled die and last digit just came out weak. Maybe someone with more knowledge will chime in.
