While nosing around a local thrift shop's book section I picked two for a buck to purchase: "Outdoor Life Gun Data Book" by Philip Rice and Game Loads and "Practical Ballistics for the American Hunter" by Bob Hagel. I just checked them on Amazon and the "Data" book list for 10 or so bucks, but the "Practical Ballistics" book is a first edition and list of 90 bucks used!
Both of them are in excellent shape with some tears on the dust covers but no marks on the pages and no "dog ears".
I do enjoy finding "buried treasure" occasionally.
