You want me to bring the Peter Earle Concepcion book?
Good Idea Kev. Also bring a camera. I'll introduce you to Burt and take some pictures of the two of you together.

Duplicate post from the other thread to make sure everyone gets a chance to read it.

Hi folks - We have a favorable weather forecast and a mere 3 days to muddle through before Saturday. Here's hoping for that good weather and safe muddling and traveling for all.

According to my several pages of notes, disorganized as they may be, we should have a lot of people, a lot of good food and a lot of good times. Head Pyrat Redman has done his usual fine job of herding the cats, setting them down in order and getting them to play in tune.
If you do not want fried chicken or hamburgers or hot dogs or pulled pork or bbq beef or ribs or Spanish rice & chicken for lunch...bring something else. We can cook it, heat it up or set it on fire for you right there on site if it can be done on a grill, with a propane torch or a cup of gas and a match

:)

If everyone that has posted brings what they've posted, we should be good with potato salad and pasta salad. If you want a green leafy or your favorite 3, 7 or 13 bean salad, you might bring one.
We do need about 10 cases of water, 10+ cases of soda, 5 dozen good hamburger buns, and maybe some other stuff..I'll post when I hear of it.
If you would like to bring some of this or something else, please take a few seconds and post here. We'd like to have enough for everyone without having a lot of extras so we
We will have Nichole Johanson and Allen Balogh representing the Non Profit Organizations - Michael Abt Jr. Have A Heart Foundation , some donation buckets for some friends having a hard time who are in need of some help from the crew, raffles, a 50/50 and some other ways for you to enjoy yourself and part with some of that moldy old money you're dragging out of the treasure chest for the day.
There will be more authors at this Cookout than have been seen in one place since...well..ever in Wabasso. Seriously...like 12 or 15...some selling books, some donating books to raise money and some looking for characters for their next crime novel.
We have TV producers, TV stars, famous treasure finders, some infamous treasure finders and a lot of people who want to be one of the aforementioned.
Be there or just read about it in the papers and online (and possibly in the police reports).
We don't want you to go through life saying "I coulda been there when...."

Volunteers are welcome to pitch in. There is always a need for a little help during one of these things. If you want to help...just ask John - he'll tell ya where to go...
