Hello all. I am from Tomball, Texas at least for now. I moved here about 10 years ago from Denver, but really I have lived all over. One thing which has never changed is my interest in history and saving some of it. I am a local volunteer with a couple non-profits for military history and vehicles. I have been lurking on this board for years reading, studying and looking through the many finds. My interest in detecting comes from, my dad who had a White MD in the 1970s and I have held an interest off and on for years. Although I never have purchased any equipment and I figure this is as good as time as any. Besides either I will nothing, a pull tab or something else interesting, its the luck of the draw I suppose. All good regardless.
