I found these two Drills about two weeks ago, in one of my fields that i hunt. Both drills were found within 2 mins of each other. The one on left has a ear nick, but still a good find. The one on the right is intact and is made of quartz.

Found it upside down! Lol! Bird point is better at ID than me. According to info he gave me tonight, looks like big sandy variant.

You said Kirk! That was my thought on the base I found and posted under winter blues thread. Check it out!!
 

Sweet 2 drills in the same day! Must be nice, lol. I do have a question on drills.....what is the difference between drills and perferators? I have a quartz piece and dont know which it is.
